Driving

So, if you don't know by now, they drive on the other side of the road from us. While it might seem slightly intimidating to think about, in reality it is really intimidating to actually do. The Stephen's have been kind enough to give us a few driving lesson's and in the process possibly sacrificing they cars. But at some point, we had to figure out how to do it on our own. The first go was a successful trip to the train station to drop of one of the Stephen's kids...(they even were willing to risk they children..crazy people). We have discovered the trick is to always think "Stay in the middle" and to have a co-pilot on board that can immediately yell "OTHER LANE" when needed.

After much anguish, we finally migrate to a full out rental car of our own. A nice shiny brand new Toyota Camry. I guess the red makes it easier for the other cars to see us coming.

We each gave it a whirl, but at the end Jason ended up being our DD.

As you can see, Ella has some concerns about this entire idea.

But we found a way to keep her busy and mind off the terror that lerks behind the wheel.
