We had a great time having Nana & Papa Lacey out to Portland recently. They were troopers, too - sleeping on an air mattress on the floor of our office. It's always so nice to have grandparents around to love on Ella (she loves them too!), and for Jason and I to have a little help with the day-to-day tasks of parenting. Nana bought Ella a cute cupcake costume for Halloween. She loved it, and we can't wait to take her around to visit friends on Halloween!
Hopefully she still will be excited to put it on when Halloween comes, because she seems to have lots of opinions about what we put on her! Jason & I also got a special treat while Nana and Papa were here. We got a night away!! That's right, our first night away together since Ella has been born. It was pure BLISS. We had a free night's stay at an Embassy Suites so just stayed downtown in Portland, walked around the city, had dinner and drinks, slept in late, had a yummy breakfast. It was so much fun for us.
Playing at the mall in the Hot Dog bus. Papa had some extra quarters so she actually got a RIDE in it rather than when she is with me and just sits in it. :)
