He is Risen Indeed!

Easter this year was SO FUN!!!  Ella is busy, and talking, and pretending, and enjoying every little detail of life, which makes everything fresh and fun.  Easter was delightful.  It started on Saturday with Grandma Gretchen coming to town and dying Easter eggs....

Since Ella is allergic to eggs, she got to eat the candy version (Easter jelly beans) as a consolation - she still asks for a candy egg whenever I eat a boiled egg. :)
Easter morning Ella woke up excited to come downstairs and see her Easter basket.  She has fabulously tangled morning hair, too....

 Bubbles!!
Dressed in her Easter best for church at Imago Dei....
Headed to church, snapshot with Grandma...

Post church snapshots of the Lacey family....

And the Easter Egg hunt with Charlie after church.  Pardon the multitude of pictures, I just think they are so cute....

And dinner...mmm....we put Ella down for her nap at Charlie's house and all ate together with the Austins, Mom, and some of the Fellows.

March

Well, March was a low photo month in the Lacey household. I have a few cute shots to share. First, this is Ella with Jason's bible. She often gets it out and sings "Jesus Loves Me" while pretending to read it. It's ADORABLE. And I have several videos of it, although Blogger doesn't let me upload videos very often. (annoying!) But here she is....And here is Ella playing with Graham, this shot makes me laugh because they both look a little silly, but they are cute buddies. Here, Ella is playing her drum for Graham as he sticks something in his mouth. :)
One day it was hailing a little and I just had to let Ella run outside and play in it. She grabbed her boots, put them on, and off she went. I love her big cloth diaper bootie...

And one highlight from March is getting to see the Greers! It's so fun that Alison and I have girls that are 3 years, 2 years, and 1 year old. They had so much fun together and kept us mom's on our toes.

Emma, Ella, and Haley sharing a meal....

DANCING! Haley and Ella did lots of dancing together, even in the mall. Haley is an amazing dancer. Seriously. She has skills - she is actually graceful, and can dance the hula around a room like no other 3 year old I've seen. Ella did a great job following her lead, and had tons of fun trying on all the tutu's.
Cuddling in Haley's big girl bed....

And SNOW! Fun...

Thanks, Alison!!

Post Disneyland Fun

After going to Disneyland, the family went to Jay & DeeDee's home for some recovery. :) Ella and Ben had lots of fun playing in the yard together....
Ella got to cuddle up with Evan and Courtney....
And I caught some cute shots on the ladder where the kids tried to grab some oranges. Here is Aunt Sarah with them!....

On a little walk we got envious of the plethora of lemons that were a little too high for our reach...
Ella got a little cold and wore Dada's sweatshirt :)
Family photo opportunity!

Thanks, Jay & DeeDee!!! We had so much fun playing at your house!!
