Oregon Coast Getaway

A few weeks ago, we headed to the Oregon Coast - a friend gifted us their beach home for a 4 day weekend (a STUNNING home right on the water in Arch Cape, about 10 miles south of Cannon Beach). I (Amy) ADORE THE OREGON COAST!! It is honestly one of my favorite places on earth. If I could pick to live anywhere in the world, I may just pick a small coastal town here in Oregon.

Jason had to work Thursday and Friday, so Anna and her 2 kids joined me for Thursday night. It was the perfect girls getaway. The ride out was fabulous - we fit all three kids in the back of Anna's Volvo, and they all entertained each other so Anna and I could chat in the front. Look at them each with their cuddly stuffed animals...

Jason arrived Friday and surprised Ella and I by arriving early....we really didn't leave the beach house much except to go into Cannon Beach once, walked on the shore a few times. It was so cozy just being inside with the view. The weekend was a little slice of heaven for us after our move - such a gift.

Here are a few videos of Ella at the Ocean. First video is of her walking around the house holding on to Daddy's fingers. She is so much better at this only a few weeks later - she is just about to walk on her own. She even took an itty bitty step all on her own the other day. And she is standing independently quite well - we're just waiting to see when she takes off.

The next video is us taking her to the beach to put her toes in the sand. Ha! She had none of that....she was not into dirty toes one bit. She is a little lady.
