Ella turns THREE

Here are some pictures of our little "family party" as a family of four.  Adelyn was sleeping of course!

 

 

 And below are pictures from the kid party we had for Ella and Charlie.  It was at Amber's house with vegan donuts, and followed by playing at Playdate PDX (a very fun indoor playground).

Hennigers visit

Adelyn was just a few weeks old when Papa Mike and Nana Lisa came to visit.  Uncle Evan and Aunt Courtney came too!  What a gift to have family in town.  Here are some pictures.

This is a random picture that makes me smile because all three of us are smiling!  I love Ella's crazy hair too - this is a true representation of how it looks most days.  Ella - you have beautiful hair, it's just still filling in. :)

Adelyn's first Christmas

Christmas this year was SO much fun.  It included out precious little Adelyn, and it was the first year that I was so excited for Ella to have Christmas morning that I almost didn't sleep the night before.  I was SO EXCITED!!! Here are a few pictures of Ella opening a few gifts with Nana and Papa before Christmas....

Also, when Adelyn was exactly 1 week old, we went to go meet Santa at the mall.  This was Ella's first time sitting on Santa's lap, and she was very excited.  She told Santa she wanted a Jack-in-the-box for Christmas.  I'm excited thinking about all the fun years ahead with our children celebrating Christmas!

A new laptop - a new beginning

Mother's day this year greeted me with a new laptop!!  Adelyn has been wanting more photos of herself on the blog, so she got me this great gift as a help. :)  I'm hoping to get back to work on this family photo album - I'm going to have to play a little catch up.  Adelyn, so sorry for the probable lack of chronological order to your photos that will be put up.  I'll do my best.

Seeing Alison!

Alison and I have been friends since as far back as we can remember life.  In a quick nutshell - she and I grew up together as little kids, then wrote each other letters (the pen and paper kind!)  for 10 YEARS when I moved away in the 3rd grade.  We both ended up at Linfield college, shared a bedroom for 4 years as college roommates, and now each have 2 daughters!  Adelyn, it's too bad you were napping while we took these shots!!
